Machu Picchu before sunrise

It is a good idea to go to Machu Picchu as early as possible.
Even a while before the actual sunrise, the compound is already lit and the few visitors present can actually feel the magic of the place. After ten o'clock, many tour buses arrive from Cusco and the site is swarming with tourists.
